Like every story in the Bible, I am simply a nobody trying to walk out the calling on my life. I was born and raised in the great southern state of Alabama. My parents divorced at the age of 6, leading me to be mostly raised in a single-parent home. Families are always more complicated than one line, and my home-life was no different. But that's a story for another time :)
I went on to graduate from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) where I met my now husband at the age of 19. We have been married for over 11 years and we have 3 beautiful (I'm biased) children.
I played what I consider a spiritual game of tag with God for most of my life growing up. Either I was chasing God, or He was chasing me. Finally, my senior year of college, He got a hold of my heart in a way that I couldn't resist Him or His calling any longer. My life has been aiming to serve Him every day since.
I worked in ministry for 8+ years, serving in a leadership position at a multi-site, non-denominational church. I am the co-founder of SheCollective Ministry, SheGathers Event, and I have a huge heart and passion for speaking God's truth through His word. My story is full of ups and downs, and I would be honored to tell you all about what God has done in my life. Let's put our faith in action, together!
